HQSOLTECH

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 June 2026

The short version. HQSOLTECH IPTV is a media player. We do not run accounts, analytics, advertising, or servers that collect your personal data. Any playlist you add — including your IPTV username and password — is stored only on your own device (encrypted on Android) and is sent only to the IPTV provider you chose, never to us. Uninstalling the app removes this data.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how the HQSOLTECH IPTV application ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. The App is a cross-platform media player that lets you connect a playlist you already own (for example, an Xtream Codes account) and watch live channels, movies and series on it. The App is published by HQSOLTECH.

2. Information the App handles

We have designed the App to keep your information on your device. Specifically:

Playlist credentials you enter

To connect a service, you enter details such as a server URL, username and password (or a playlist URL). These are stored locally on your device so you don't have to re-enter them. On Android they are kept in encrypted storage backed by the device keystore. We never transmit these credentials to HQSOLTECH; they are used only to communicate with the IPTV provider you selected.

App preferences and on-device content

Settings (such as theme and playback preferences), your favourites, "continue watching" progress, a cached copy of your provider's catalogue, and any media you choose to download for offline viewing are all stored on your device. They are not sent to us.

What we do not collect

3. Network connections the App makes

4. Purchases

If the App offers a paid upgrade, the payment is processed by the app store (e.g. Google Play). We do not receive or store your card or banking details. The store may share with us a non-personal confirmation that a purchase is valid, so the App can unlock premium features.

5. Permissions

The App requests only the permissions it needs to function:

6. Data security

Saved credentials are encrypted at rest on Android using the Android Keystore. The optional phone-pairing channel is encrypted end-to-end. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Data retention & your control

Because your data lives on your device, you are in control of it:

8. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. Contact us

Questions about this policy or your data? You can reach us through the developer contact details listed on the App's store page (e.g. Google Play).
